Petit Grande Miyabi

My partner and I booked Miyabi for a week and it was perfect. The room was cozy, very clean, and the little details (bathrobes, coffee, guide maps) made it special. We took the rooftop photo with Skytree behind us — a memory we’ll keep forever.

Traveling with two kids isn’t easy in Tokyo, but Miyabi made it comfortable. The room had a kitchenette and washing machine, and having two toilets was a lifesaver! Staff were kind and even gave us tips on family-friendly restaurants nearby.

I stayed here for three weeks while working remotely. Having a full kitchen and laundry facilities made a huge difference compared to a normal hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and always checked if I needed anything. Truly a home away from home.

What I loved most about staying at Miyabi was being in Ryogoku itself. We could try authentic chanko-nabe, visit the Edo-Tokyo Museum, and stroll along the Sumida River. It felt less touristy than Shinjuku or Shibuya, but still well connected to the whole city.

The location in Ryogoku was ideal — quiet at night but just minutes from the train station. I loved being able to walk to the Sumo Stadium and the Hokusai Museum. The rooftop view of Skytree at night was unforgettable.
